3 Motor Must-Haves

If you’re a car owner, one of the musts is motor insurance – but good drivers are also prepared each time they go on the road. Here are three motor must-haves.
Basic tools – You’ll need basic tools to change a flat tire or to make adjustments to your engine should it stall. Some of these basic tools are a car jack, tire gauge, adjustable wrench, flashlight and jumper cables.
Copy of the OR/CR of your car registration and list of emergency numbers - Have updated copies of these in your car at all times. Pioneer motor policyholders can call Pioneer Auto Rescue at 752-1789 for free minor on-site repairs, towing, alternative transport, overnight accommodation and other services. Not a Pioneer policyholder? You can still call Auto Rescue for help, for a minimal fee.
Spare tire – Don’t be caught without one – you’ll need to check it regularly to make sure it’s inflated.
