Pioneer Insurance bags PIRA award

Non-life insurance firm Pioneer Insurance was awarded Best in Corporate Social Responsibility at the first Philippine Non- Life Insurance (PIRA) Awards held recently at the Peninsula Hotel in Makati. The PIRA Awards is the first and only badge of excellence for the Philippine non-life insurance market and its first edition seeks to promote the virtue of "malasakit". Pioneer was recognized for portraying this trait as it was awarded Best in CSR for its Tulong Pang Dunong (TUPAD) Program, an education assistance program that awards scholarship grants annually to children of its employees.
