GET COVERAGES FOR YOUR CARGO IN TRANSIT
Under Institute Cargo Clauses “C” coverage, Pioneer Insurance ensures recovery from cargo losses due to any of these causes:
- Fire or Explosion (those not caused by spontaneous combustion)
- Stranding, grounding, sinking or capsizing of cargo vessel or craft
- Overturning or derailment of land conveyance
- Collision or contact of cargo vessel, craft or conveyance with any external object other than water
- Both-to-blame collision
- Discharge of cargo at a port of distress
You can also be indemnified for internal losses made to protect the overall interest or minimize the extent of damage – deliberate acts such as General Average Sacrifice and Jettisoning of cargo or parts of a ship in times of peril.

- Earthquake
- Volcanic eruption or lightning
- Washing overboard
