Pioneer Life, one of the leading Filipino insurance companies, made concrete its intent to help save and protect the environment by launching this month its e-Statement Service. The service invites all Pioneer Life policyholders to go e and paper free by opting to receive their statements of account via email instead of snail mail. It began this step towards the use of less paper in operations by asking all employee-policyholders to be the first to enroll in the service.
It has likewise started a campaign to encourage all its policyholders to opt for the e-Statement. All policyholders have to do is send an e-mail to eStatement@pioneer.com.ph with their name, security code, mobile number, and e-mail address. An e-Statement enrollment confirmation will be sent back within five working days from the date of registration. Pioneer offers special rewards to the first 1,000 policyholders to enroll in the facility.
“The e-statement service allows us to serve our policyholders better,” Lorenzo Chan, Pioneer Life President and CEO said, “Not only will clients receive their statements in a more timely manner, we don't be adding to the clutter of their everyday mail.” It is also an opportunity for both Pioneer Life and the policyholder to make an active choice towards saving the environment. Pioneer Life is currently exploring other ways that will facilitate the move towards virtually paperless operations.
How to enroll
Send an e-mail to eStatement@pioneer.com.ph with the following details:
a. name of policy owner
b. security code (indicated at the back)
c. mobile number
d. e-mail address (if you prefer to use an e-mail address other than the one used for enrollment)
You will receive an e-Statement enrollment confirmation within 5 working days from date of registration. Otherwise, you may call the Policy Service Team at +63 2 812 7777 for assistance.
e-Statement Enrollment Promo Mechanics
1. The Pioneer Life Inc.’s e-Statement promo will run from April 1, 2010 to July 31, 2010.
2. The promo is open to all Policy Owners of individual traditional and variable life policies (with ‘in force’ or ‘fully paid’ status) issued before April 1, 2010.
3. First 1,000 policies* successfully enrolled in e-Statement within the promo period will receive:
• For each Premium-Paying Peso Policy: Php100 credit to the policy
• For each Fully-Paid/Dollar/Variable Life Policy: 1-year personal accident coverage of Php100,000
*A policy will be entitled to a reward on the initial enrollment only.
4. Policies owned by employees/consultants/project employees/contractual employees of Pioneer Insurance & Surety Corporation, Pioneer Life Inc., Pioneer Intercontinental Insurance Corporation, Blue Cow Co., Inc. are excluded from the promo.
5. Policies under Worksite Account are excluded from the promo.
6. The decision of Pioneer Life Inc. on all matters relating to the promo shall be final and binding on all Policy Owners and Financial Advisers.
